Refund Policy

At Memory2Melody, every song is custom made using the details, memories, preferences, and story information you provide. Because our products are personalized digital services and cannot be resold, our cancellation, refund, and revision policies are outlined below.

By placing an order with Memory2Melody, you agree to this Refund Policy.

Custom Digital Product Notice

Memory2Melody creates personalized digital songs based on your submitted information. Once work has started, time and creative resources are used to prepare your lyrics, song direction, production prompts, generated audio, review, editing, and delivery.

For this reason, refunds are limited once work has begun.

Standard Custom Song Cancellations

For standard custom song orders, cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible by emailing contact@memory2melody.com.

If you cancel within 2 hours of placing your order, you may receive a full refund.

If you cancel between 2 and 24 hours after placing your order, you may receive a 50% refund.

If you cancel more than 24 hours after placing your order, no refund will be issued because work may already be underway.

Cancellation requests are reviewed based on the status of your order. If your song has already been created, generated, reviewed, delivered, or substantially completed, your order may no longer be eligible for cancellation or refund.

Rush or Express Orders

Rush, priority, or express orders are non-refundable once placed.

Because these orders require immediate scheduling and production, we begin work quickly to meet the promised delivery timeline. For that reason, rush fees, priority fees, express delivery upgrades, and similar add-ons cannot be cancelled or refunded once purchased.

Refunds After Delivery

Once a custom song has been delivered, the order is considered fulfilled and is not eligible for refund.

This applies to all delivered digital song files, lyric files, previews, drafts, revisions, and related digital materials.

Errors and Corrections

We want your song to feel personal and accurate. If your delivered song includes an error caused by Memory2Melody, such as an incorrect name, missed detail, or technical file issue, please contact us at contact@memory2melody.com within 48 hours of delivery.

Where appropriate, we will correct the issue or provide a replacement file at no additional charge.

Refunds are not provided for correctable errors or technical issues. Our remedy in these situations is to provide a corrected or replacement digital file.

Customer Provided Information

Your song is created based on the information you submit.

Memory2Melody is not responsible for errors, missing details, spelling mistakes, incorrect names, pronunciation issues, incorrect relationship details, or other problems caused by incomplete or inaccurate information submitted by the customer.

If you notice an error in the information you submitted, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to make updates before production begins, but changes may not be possible once work is underway.

Revisions and Small Changes

Each eligible order includes one round of small revisions, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Small revisions may include:

Correcting a name or pronunciation issue

Fixing a factual detail from your questionnaire

Minor lyric wording adjustments

Minor changes to phrasing

Replacement of a corrected file if there is a technical issue

Revision requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery by emailing contact@memory2melody.com.

Revision requests submitted after 14 days may be declined or may require an additional fee.

Major Changes

Major changes are not included as part of the standard revision policy.

Major changes may include:

Changing the genre or overall style after the song has been created

Changing the vocalist type after production

Requesting a new melody

Requesting a substantially different song structure

Adding major new story details after production

Requesting a full rewrite

Requesting a completely new version because of a change in personal preference

Major changes may require an additional fee. If an additional fee applies, we will let you know before any further work is completed.

Add-ons and Upgrades

Add-ons and upgrades are non-refundable once purchased if work has started or the digital service has been delivered.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Rush delivery

Priority processing

Extra song versions

Additional revisions

Lyric sheets or digital artwork

Special formatting

Any other custom upgrade or digital add-on

Technical Access Issues

If you have trouble accessing, downloading, or opening your delivered song file, contact us at contact@memory2melody.com.

We will make reasonable efforts to help resolve the issue, resend the file, or provide a replacement file.

Technical access issues do not qualify for a refund unless we are unable to deliver the purchased digital product at all due to an issue solely caused by Memory2Melody.

If We Cannot Complete Your Order

If Memory2Melody is unable to complete your order substantially as described due to an issue solely caused by us, we may, at our discretion:

Recreate the song

Provide a replacement digital product

Offer store credit

Issue a partial or full refund

Any approved refund will be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on Shopify, your payment provider, bank, or credit card company.

Payment Processing Fees

Where permitted by law, payment processing fees, third party production costs, platform fees, and other non-recoverable costs may be deducted from any approved refund.

Chargebacks

If you believe there is an issue with your order or charge, please contact us first at contact@memory2melody.com so we can try to resolve it.

We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks that we believe are incorrect, abusive, fraudulent, or inconsistent with this Refund Policy. We may also suspend or refuse future orders connected to abusive or fraudulent payment disputes.
